Our history
On January 6, 1992, Manuel Peixoto, creator of Transports Peixoto et Fils, took to the road with his first truck. Then began the tractions between Saint-Sever (40) and Toulouse (31) every day on behalf of Stef Saint Sever.
It was after four years of hard work that the company became a family business. Following the purchase in 1996 of their 1er 3.5T in order to develop temperature-controlled parcel taxis, Maria Peixoto, wife of Manuel Peixoto joined the adventure, closely followed by their three children – Sylvie (in 1996), Alexandre (in 1998) and Frédéric (in 2000).

Following the evolution of the company, Peixoto et Fils transport moved to the industrial area of Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse, acquiring a 2000 m² logistics depot as well as spacious offices. This purchase allows them to develop national and international transport, the distribution of temperature-controlled refrigerated products and logistics.
Soucieux de toujours satisfaire les demandes de leurs clients, et souhaitant continuer d’accroitre leurs champs d’actions, les transports Peixoto et Fils rachètent en 2009 les Transports Gilbert Touzé dont les dépôts sont situés à Plouisy (22) pour la maison mère, et à Bordeaux (33). Cet acquisition leur donne la possibilité de développer d’autres lignes de transports telles que le groupage en fruits et légumes et l’acheminement vers les différents MIN, de Toulouse jusqu’à Rennes.
En 2009, la Holding Peixoto est créée afin de mettre en place et structurer l’ensemble des fonctions supports de cette nouvelle organisation. Forts de leurs années d’expérience, Sylvie et Alexandre Peixoto prennent la main sur l’exploitation transport, tandis que leur frère Frédéric prend en charge le développement commercial de chaque société.
Always pursuing their entrepreneurial spirit, it was in 2013 that Transports Peixoto et Fils developed lines to Rungis and the North of France from the South-West. These new transport plans being increasingly important, the Transports Touzé depot in Floirac then became too small.
This is why in 2015, the Peixoto family created the Peixoto Bordeaux Gironde company by building a new depot in the industrial zone of Beychac and Caillau, where they will settle in 2017, thus allowing the growth of Gironde society, and the development of national lines.
Always with the idea of a dynamic of progress and in order to be referenced with hundreds of partners, it was also during this period that Transports Peixoto et Fils joined the FLO Group.

Gradually, Mr. Manuel Peixoto decides to delegate decision-making to his children, in particular to Frédéric Peixoto, who is gradually moving away from the sales department. Since 2018, the latter has given a more committed vision in terms of ecology by allowing the Peixoto group to invest in cleaner vehicles, running on Bio CNG and consuming less CO². It's the beginning of a new era for freight transport.
En parallèle, et afin de renforcer notre activité de groupage en fruits & légumes, le Groupe Peixoto acquiert en 2018 les Transports Nougarède, situé dans la commune de Moissac (82).
L’intégration de cette société, spécialiste dans le groupage de fruits & légumes au départ du Lot-et-Garonne et du Tarn-et-Garonne à destination de la vallée du Rhône, permet au Groupe Peixoto d’étendre leur plan de transport vers ces régions.
A l’été 2019, afin de compléter le maillage régional, un dépôt logistique a été ouvert à Marmande (47).
Cet entrepôt permet le transit de la marchandise et le relai entre la région bordelaise et la région Rhône Alpes.
C’est en 2020, après presque 30 ans d’activité, que Monsieur Manuel Peixoto prend officiellement sa retraite, laissant alors Frédéric Peixoto, à la tête du groupe, en tant que Directeur général, Alexandre Peixoto en tant que Directeur opérationnel et Sylvie Nicolas en tant que Directrice QHSE.
